History
Cobra Construction Company is a mid-size business established in 1975 specializing in new commercial construction, remodels, multifamily housing repair and construction defect repair throughout greater western Washington. We work in both the public and private sector, either under a competitive bid, cost plus or negotiated price process. Our reputation for providing a job done right makes us an excellent candidate for repairs associated with construction defect claims. Property management companies, attorneys and owners throughout the Puget Sound have relied on our “fix it right” capabilities. Much of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.
Safety
As members of Associated General Contractors of America since 1982 and the Associated General Contractors of Washington Safety Team since 1999, Cobra Construction emphasizes job safety. Not only are toolbox safety meetings given on our job sites, but also safety breakfasts at our home office for all employees. Here, either safety videos or jobsite slides are shown discussing the latest concerns and recent accidents in the news. Everyone leaves with both a satisfied appetite and more knowledge to begin their day safely. Our good safety practices and safety conscious workers have earned Cobra Construction repeated awards and earned us an exceptionally low EF (experience factor) of 0.60 (assigned by the State of Washington Department of Labor and Industries). This affects the amount we pay for insurance and allows us to be more competitive in the marketplace. Cobra Construction is a drug-free company and performs random, post accident and for-cause drug testing.
